LinkedIn’s Job Search App Now Available For Android

Last year, LinkedIn launched its first standalone job search app, noting that 40% of its 300 million users access the site on mobile devices. The app launched in June as a free iOS app and it is now available for Android.
LinkedIn Job Search allows users to search and apply for jobs on the social network. The company says the app brings all the same features seen on iOS, but was built from scratch for Android. Job Search Android has been optimized “specially for the Android experience” featuring left- and right-hand navigation, as well as action bars at the top of the screen within the app.
The app is intended to help you search for jobs in your free time on the go. When users are ready to apply for a job, the app allows them to do so easily by submitting their LinkedIn profile. The app claims to provide users with a more detailed job search experience and customizations based on job title, location, company, industry, and seniority level. LinkedIn Job Search also provides tailored job recommendations based on saved searches as well relevant jobs that match viewing history. The app indicates whether potential employers have viewed submitted submitted application.
The Android LinkedIn Job Search app is now available globally in the
Google Play Store.
